A/N: half of this was written with writers blocks the other half was written when I was high, so don’t judge the quality okay 😊

Naruto

- One by one you both watched as everyone was drawn. When it was just down to four of you, Naruto prayed he would get Kiba

His name is mentioned quite a bit in the latest entries, and that's because she's developed a crush on the blonde. Sasuke isn't happy about this new development in the slightest.

He'll immediately confront her, not bothering to hide how mad he is, not does he make it a secret that he read her diary without permission. Despite clearly being in the wrong in this situation, Sasuke will act like she's the one who who committed some terrible slight against him, like her daring to have a crush on his idiotic rival is a personal insult against Sasuke, like she's cheating on him.

"Care to explain..? Did you really think you could keep this from me?! Huh?! Do you think I'm that fucking stupid?! I'll teach you what happens to little sisters who lie to their big brothers..."

- You had asked to stay at his apartment for just a couple days cause you were also mad at your teammates and sensei

“Bridge” in NARUTO...

A ``bridge'' is something that ``connects'' two things that are separated. A bridge is one of the most important symbols of a relationship. In human relationships, it can refer to the ability to connect with others, building emotional bridges that bring people together. This symbolism is used to foster empathy and understanding, key elements in building healthy and functional relationships. Another thing is that, In every person's life, there are moments of significant change, turning points that require a transition from one stage to another. The bridge represents that path, often filled with uncertainty and fear, but also hope and possibility.

Rivers and bridges appear frequently in NARUTO , making memorable appearances in scenes of meetings and partings. A bridge is a road that connects two distant worlds. It is also a place where you can meet a different world, and a place where you can depart to another world. And a destroyed bridge represents disconnection and suffering.

It is a story about re-building (connecting) bridges (connections) that have been broken... Sometimes we break things without realizing it, or we break them on purpose... Meetings, partings... Feelings we want to connect, feelings we want to break... It's safe to say that it's always a memorable scene. The ``bridge'' that appears in the story... Each person's feelings collide and intersect...

In Naruto, ``bridges'' often appear as places for encounters, farewells and hope.

1. MIZUKIRI

The ``mizukiri'' that Hashirama and Madara used to do when they were children...that is like a dream bridge to ``reach the other side''. for Hashirama, it's a ``dream bridge''; for Madara, it's a bridge of dreams (hoping to find the way). For Madara and Hashirama, that Mizukiri (Bridge of Dreams) is an important ``memory that connects them'' that they will never forget.

they are right in their own way too. They really love each other. But their dreams were so sincere and precious to them. they prioritized their dreams more than each other and hence they couldn't able to come to an Understanding.

2. THE LAND OF WAVES

The ``Land of Waves Mission,'' which was the first mission for Naruto and his teammates, also took place on a bridge under construction. For them, who had just become genin, the mission to Wave Country was their first challenge as ninja. Their first real battle with an enemy.

All of them was scared and trembled during this battle. And even Naruto, who was sacred and tried to run away but then he remembered the promise he made to himself about not losing to Sasuke. That's when he decided to fight back, and showed "the courage to never give up and to not run away" in front of Sasuke (and others).

On the first day of Team 7, when Sasuke introduced himself, he said, ``My ambition is.... there's a man I without fail kill.'' And then Sasuke did something that was probably surprising even to himself... in the fight with Haku, he became a shield and sacrificed his life to protect Naruto (on the bridge).

Tazuna "built a bridge of hope"... He firmly built the "The great Naruto Bridge" to give courage and hope to the people of the Land of Waves and to help them regain their confidence. Because it was NARUTO who changed the hearts of the people in LOW and gave them hope and courage.

3. “TENCHI BRIDGE” that Naruto destroyed

Full of desire to get Sasuke back, Naruto heads towards the hidden Tenchi Bridge... But Naruto's feelings get ahead of him and he transforms into the four-tails and destroys the bridge. Naruto destroyed the bridge that was supposed to lead to Sasuke. The ``Tenchi Bridge'' that Naruto destroyed himself... It told us that there was ``still a long way to go'' to reach Sasuke.

The pitiful sight of the Tenchi Bridge, so mercilessly destroyed by the out-of-control Naruto at that time, was a reminder of "Naruto's cry of anguish."

4. Sasuke looked up at “THE GREAT NARUTO BRIDGE”

In Volume 38, shortly after the formation of "Hebi" Sasuke takes Suigetsu with him and visits the Land of Waves to retrieve the ``Kubikiribōchō'' left behind by zabuza. He was looking up at The Great Naruto Bridge, staring at the name of the bridge. He was smiling fondly just bcuz he saw the bridge having naruto's name on it and got reminded of the memories he had with naruto here. Well, even though Sasuke acted like he had severed ties with Naruto in Vote 1 and Orochimaru's lair, the mere sight of Naruto's name and the painful memories associated with it proves that he is unable to cut his ties with Naruto.

Kishimoto said a lot in this one scene; his face, etched with a look of nostalgia, showed a blend of amazement, suggesting a time of a cherished memory. Like, how he chose to carry the memories they shared, keep the bond intact from his side, and pursue his goals in the darkness.

5. Samurai Bridge

It is built out of blue stones and features a large gate at one end, emblazoned with the kanji for samurai (侍). On top of the gate is a large stone statue of a sheathed sword.

During the battle with the Eight Tails (their target), Sasuke risked his life to save taka, he was also concerned about them, asking them if they were okay, he helped Suigetsu back to safety in ch. 412, and he tried his best to save Karin, who was accidently caught in the Amaterasu's flames. He has all the reasons to save suigetsu, juugo and karin. This isn't the first time we've seen him like this, he was adamant about telling Naruto to save Sakura and ready to sacrifice himself to fight Gaara because that's how he is. He cares for taka the same way he did with team 7 in part 1. Sakura, Kakashi and Team Taka... they belong to the same team as him and hence he felt the need to protect them as his Comrades. when he is in a state of emotional balance where intense emotions are not dominating or interfering with his ability to think clearly or act effectively, he will protect his teammates, like he does, whether with team7 or Taka. He wouldn't have leave his comrades to die during those moments. But he also doesn't let any of them (taka) too close emotionally.... like he did with Sakura & Kakashi. which is why Sasuke calls Naruto his only (closest) friend again in the war arc.

At the Five Kage Summit he left them (juugo & suigetsu) behind in the rubble. Karin also noticed Sasuke's change and his chakra growing too cold at the Five Kage Summit. For Sasuke, killing Danzo was above anything else, and as the entire arc progressed, more and more people tried to get in his way... So thus his mind gone spiral completely.

Kishimoto has him stab Karin and almost killed her, to show how damaged Sasuke's mental state was. He sacrificed someone who was not part of his revenge someone who helped him. The intention here was to show Sasuke succumbing to the darkness. He has been completely taken over by darkness. He was completely overwhelmed and consumed by the negative feelings, with hate being the primary emotion driving his actions and thoughts.

At one of the most crucial moments... while trying to save Team Taka.... he thought about Team 7, and awakened Amaterasu.

But after that, he didn't even hesitate to kill the teammates from that very team.

Then the moment Naruto came into the picture and talks about their bond and his feelings for Sasuke, Sasuke actually stopped and listened to it. It is very symbolic that naruto is standing directly in front of a symbol of the sun! Even in the close up panel of Naruto, the sun is in the top right corner, but if you zoom out, the sun is not at eye level.

Naruto suggests a double suicide to Sasuke because he cannot let go of him. He wants to live with Sasuke in the next world and is willing to give up his dream and others for Sasuke. Devoted love was always linked with death. The concept of shinjū was very popular in Edo period, the lovers, who could not live together in the physical world due to social restrictions or obligations, would commit suicide together or kill each other. To be free to love each other in the way they want, to be reunited in the afterlife where they are no longer burdened by the identities they were given.

Karin, who had previously said that Sasuke's chakra was cold, must have noticed something change here.

And at the "Valley of the End" where Naruto and Sasuke parted ways... there was no "bridge connecting the two," and the two began to walk in different directions, but several "bridges" continued to appear afterwards, as if to test them. "The Tenchi Bridge, the Great naruto Bridge again, and the samurai bridge". Then, at the "Valley of the End 2," Naruto and Sasuke join their hands, and the hands of the stone statues of Madara and Hashirama are also joined, and finally, a "bridge" is built over the Valley of the End.

When it comes to Naruto and Sasuke, it's always, “You are more precious than my Dreams...” And that's why Sasuke couldn't able to kill and cut his ties with Naruto even though he had plenty of chances. And that's why Naruto couldn't able to give up on saving Sasuke. Because, each time without fail, both Naruto and Sasuke were able to prioritize their strong love for each other over their dreams. And they came to an understanding.

A SasuHina AU where Hinata later on joins Orochimaru’s group. Everyone still treats Hinata as fragile and docile and her family mistreats her more the older she gets. Sasuke convinces Orochimaru of a vague plan to acquire another member that has rare abilities like him, never telling him it’s someone he personally knew or that she’s from one of the leaf village’s prominent families.

Rather than have her talents wasted and not allowed the proper time and space to grow, Sasuke secretly converses with Hinata while she’s out on a mission in an attempt to have her join him. (‼️⚠️Yapping below⚠️‼️)

She does end up taking his offer later on and leaves her family in disarray because she leaves Neji with family secrets about the family seal and leaves him to be the family heir.

I did have a bit sketched of Itachi making a joke about the two when they were kids and thus leading to them being engaged/betrothed by their mothers decisions but left it out because it was too much to fit in here. I also had a portion where Hinata painfully removes Neji’s curse mark and him fearing her for a moment and seeing her potential in that small moment before being left to pick up the pieces of their family.

They knew/met each other as children in this since they are both part of important clans in the village and their parents maintained connections with them. Hinata was usually too busy to be around/play with Sasuke and Itachi since her father and family used most of their time to train her, resulting in Sasuke mainly watching her train and her even sparring with Itachi at times (and losing, much to her father’s dismay).

Their moms have them be verbally betrothed as a small joke amongst the older members in their families, but Hinata’s father was not happy with it (since he views her unworthy until she can start acting and moving like a proper ninja of the clan) but didn’t care for it and lets them pretend about it. Sasuke’s family just thinks it’s cute and pay it no mind but occasionally feel sorry for Hinata seeing how she’s worked to the bone to become the clan heir. They do have certain expectations for Sasuke as well but view the Hyuuga’s methods as overkill in some areas. Also Itachi is the eldest so Sasuke doesn’t rly understand what the clan heirs have to put up with most of the time as he’s given more freedoms.

Hinata basically has had enough of the mistreatment and being underestimated and never being taken seriously so she’d rather turn to them so that she doesn’t have anything holding her back from improving herself and no longer needing to seek constant approval from anybody. Yknow, something like, she never gets to do anything she wants and constantly feels suffocated from having no control over anything she can/can’t do. Her family is so controlling that even if she finds ways in which she can get better she can’t use them because the clan is stubborn in the ways they want her to portray herself and act as a ninja.

I did add goofy bits of Orochimaru commenting on their hair. He cuts Hinata’s to be layered to give her a more mature look, and he hates how Sasuke never changes his lmao.

I kinda feel like making a art of Itachi being so big brother coded towards these two that when he sees Sasuke he’s surprised (bc duh he’s with the bad guys now and he was such a kind hearted baby) but upon seeing Hinata he is proud to see her take something for herself and be able to pave her own way. Idk lmao. I had fun drawing this and like the way I used some of the brushes.

Btw I plan to not have these two interact with each other with romantic intentions in mind but have those feelings sort of progress naturally amongst each other. She also does still have her crush on Naruto in this but realizes it’s not rly gonna go anywhere so she decides it’s best to forget about him and move on, especially with the fact that her lifestyle will become different.

The smell of iron in the air is strong, impregnating your throat as you move through the wreckage of the battlefield. The end of the mission was a disaster. You knew something was wrong from the start, but you never imagined things would come to this.

The team assigned to eliminate a group of dangerous mercenaries fell into a trap. Kakashi, always a brilliant strategist, tried to lead the retreat, but was hit by an unknown attack. You remember the exact moment he fell, blood dripping from his thin mask and his gaze unfocused, as if his consciousness was slipping from his grasp. You carried him back, struggling against the weight of his body and the despair growing inside you.

You didn't stop for a second during the journey back to Konoha. The heat of Kakashi's fever made his heart clench, and his hands were always pressed against his chest, feeling his irregular breathing. He spoke in disjointed tones, whispered his name, squeezed his hand as if that was the only thing keeping him there.

But when he woke up in the hospital ward, with empty gray eyes and an expression of confusion, something inside you broke.

"Who are you?"

The question echoes in your head, and you feel as if you've been hit straight in the chest. You take a step back, your heart hammering wildly. His gaze carries no trace of recognition, no spark of the tenderness you used to find so easily.

"It's me… Y/N," his voice comes out lower than you'd like.

He just blinks, as if trying to pull non-existent memories from the back of his mind. Tsunade appears at his side, her serious gaze confirming what you feared most: he had lost part of his memory. Especially the memories about you.

Before that, Kakashi knew you better than anyone. He was the man who woke you up with coffee and a kiss on the forehead before missions, the shinobi who dragged you under the covers on cold days and read scrolls while you snuggled against him.

You remember every touch, every muffled laugh as he leaned his forehead against yours after a long day. You remember how he used to say your name quietly, as if it were a secret he never wanted to share with anyone else.

Naruto was the first to revolt. "Is this some kind of joke? What do you mean he forgot Y/N Sensei?" he exclaimed, his fists clenched. Sakura remained silent for a few moments, her green eyes shining with something between pain and compassion. Sasuke maintained his indifferent expression, but you knew him well enough to realize that he was processing the information carefully.

"It's true," Tsunade confirmed. "It seems that the attack affected specific memories. He remembers the village, you, all his missions… But not Y/N."

Naruto looked at you, his blue eyes carrying a pain you didn't want to see reflected. "It can't stay like this. He has to remember."

But the question was: did he want to remember?

You tried. You spent days by his side, talking about moments that were once natural between you. You took him to Ichiraku, where you used to share bowls of lamen in comfortable silence. You showed him the book he'd given you as a present, the notes he'd written on the back cover.

But nothing worked.

"I'm sorry," he murmured one day, as you held his hand across the table. The touch felt the same, but the emotion behind it wasn't there. "I don't… I don't remember you."

You wanted to scream, to cry, to ask what else you could do to bring him back. But instead, you just smiled, even though you felt your heart breaking.

"It's okay," you lied.

The days passed, and Kakashi began to observe you differently. He noticed the way Naruto treated you with affection and the way Sakura looked at you with pity. He noticed the way your gaze lingered on him, carrying a weight he didn't fully understand.

One night, he found you at the top of Hokage Rock, where you used to go when you needed peace. He approached slowly and stopped beside you.

"I don't remember you," he repeated, but this time, there was something different in his tone. "But I want to meet you."

before i get to my main point i need to do this first.

when naruto and sasuke were fighting in the last chapters i could see some things about that moment, especially in sasuke. starting with this.

and then we have in the next panel where says those words: "i know your heart and you mine". they're already fighting, and as sasuke keeps trying to provoke naruto into a serious fight, naruto refuses and then sasuke says those words after that.

sasuke tries to do the same thing he tried when he left the village: sever his bond with naruto. but instead we get this words "especially because it's you..." sasuke clarified that he needed to cut that bond with naruto, he had his reasons.

we have this scene that we all know. sasuke trying to figure out what it means to naruto to be his friend and what was the reason why he did all the things he did for sasuke. naruto doesn't know how to respond to that question, but he confesses that it hurt him to see sasuke in the state he had reached.

and then in these 3 panels we saw sasuke confess his feelings, but only to himself. this is a very important scene because we saw the truth about sasuke, the reasons why he did all those things. he needed to sever his bond with naruto, because he had strong feelings for naruto that he considered a weakness. feelings that grew deeper over time.

and yes, we have sasuke admitting he lost, but this could mean he lost to himself, in the way he tried to sever his bond with naruto, suppress his feelings, try to be alone, all those thoughts.

for me, this is both a realization and a confession that sasuke made to himself. that's what i wanted to get at.
